The Gospel B.C. - The Gospel in the Garden
Feb 15, 2026 • Pastor Brandon Bowers
In the opening message of The Gospel B.C., we travel back to Genesis to see that the good news of Jesus did not begin in the New Testament, it began in the Garden. Creation reveals perfection and intimacy with God, but the fall introduces sin, separation, and death. Yet even in humanity’s rebellion, God responds with grace: a promise of a coming Redeemer and a provision through the first sacrifice. The fig leaves of human effort are shown to be insufficient, but God clothes sinners through the shedding of innocent blood, pointing forward to Jesus, the Lamb of God. From the very beginning, the gospel has been clear: salvation is not something we achieve; it is something God provides.
