NewLife Students is the youth ministry of NewLife Church. We hope to create an environment welcoming to everyone, but still preaching the truth of Scripture. Our mission is to give students the opportunity to encounter Jesus and discover their purpose. Age does not mean anything when it comes to what God is able to do in one's life.

Students from 6th grade to 12th grade meet on Sunday night from 5:00pm–7:00pm at NewLife Church.
Each week is a high-energy, welcoming environment where students can come as they are. We worship together, play games, dive into God’s Word, and break into gender-specific small groups where real conversations can happen. It’s a place to build friendships, grow in faith, and discover that you’re not alone in your walk with Christ.

WHERE DO students 6TH GRADE AND UP GO ON SUNDAY MORNINGS?
Our students gather for a youth-specific service on Sunday nights, while 6th grade and up attend the main worship service on Sunday mornings. This rhythm helps students grow in biblical teaching, worship alongside their families, and feel connected to the full church body, while still having a space designed just for them on Sunday nights!
Fun and games
First things, first. We'll start things off with games, snacks, and community-oriented activities.
Worship through music
Next, we’ll move into a time of worship where students can encounter God’s presence through music that resonates with them and creates a welcoming space to be authentic.
Relevant Messages
Then we'll dive into Scripture where we'll grow roots in the Word of God.
Small Groups
Lastly, and certainly not least, we'll dissect passages of Scripture in small groups where students will form meaningful relationships with each other and their leaders.

Pastor Joel McDuffie
Pastor Joel has a heart for helping students grow in their relationship with Jesus and discover who God has called them to be. He holds a Master’s degree in Christian Ministry from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies from Baptist College of Florida.
With a passion for discipleship, biblical teaching, and authentic relationships, Pastor Joel is committed to creating a welcoming, Christ-centered environment where students can ask real questions, grow in their faith, and learn how to live it out daily.
