If you've watched our campaign video, you know the "why" behind our mission. If you haven't seen it yet, we highly encourage you to do so. It is evident how the Lord has been moving in our church and community, and we are ready to make room for what's next. After a season of growing our roots deep, it is time to branch out and expand our impact.  

NewLife Church has been growing for many years, a blessing that led to our 2019 Kids Wing expansion. However, due to property setbacks and boundary lines, we eventually concluded that our facility had reached its maximum footprint. We couldn’t build to the left, right, or rear, and the front of our property was essential for parking.
But God had different plans! In early 2022, Sam’s Car Wash approached us seeking to use our existing entrance off Browns Hill Road to develop the land between our church and Highway 24-27. What began as a request turned into an incredible land swap opportunity: we would grant them our entrance in exchange for two acres of land adjacent to our sanctuary.
The best part? Sam’s agreed to let us continue using the entrance, while also grading the new land and bringing sewer, water, power, and other utilities to the site at no cost to the church. We truly saw God at work! Now, we have the space to build our much-needed expansion, along with a convenient new main entrance off Highway 24-27, located beside Martin’s Dentistry.

Our leadership has been working diligently alongside our building team—including architects, civil engineers, and contractors—to design a space that meets our exact needs. Countless hours, thoughtful planning, and deep prayer have been poured into this project.
While there are many amenities we would love to eventually offer at NewLife Church, we are remaining deeply mindful of our budget and the overall financial health of our ministry. To ensure we are always in a position to impact our church, our community, and the world, we must remain faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.
We are currently finalizing our designs and preparing to enter the official plan review phase. Our estimated start date to begin constructing the building is set for October or November 2026.

• A modern, 800+ seat auditorium – Featuring a built-in baptismal pool integrated directly into the stage (not pictured).
• Spacious Next Steps Room – A dedicated space for educational events, including Grow Groups, NewLife Academy, and Bible studies.
• Expanded LifeGroup & Community Rooms  – Multiple rooms located off the main lobby and throughout the facility designed to foster deeper connection and community.
• An Upgraded Coffee Area – Because who isn't excited about great coffee and fellowship?
• Community Seating & Hangout Spaces – Located at the back of the Connector, offering the perfect spot to relax and catch up with others over a cup of coffee (not pictured).
• Two Convenient Campus Entrances – Direct access from both Browns Hill Road and our brand-new entrance off Highway 24-27, right beside Dr. Martin’s Dentistry.
• Expanded Parking – Additional parking spaces added to both the front and rear of the building to accommodate our growing family.

Our existing auditorium will be fully repurposed for our NextGen ministries! It will host KidzLife (K–5th) on Sunday mornings and Student Ministry (6th–12th) on Sunday nights. By removing the seating, we are opening up a massive, flexible space for them to play games, worship, and much more.
By relocating these older age groups into the repurposed auditorium, we will free up significant space in our existing kids wing. This allows us to create much-needed capacity and specialized environments for our rapidly growing infant and toddler ministries.

We are officially in the grading phase of our expansion! Crews are hard at work clearing trees, installing a retaining pond, and putting in the critical infrastructure that will support our future church home.
Over the next 3–4 months, you will notice several exciting changes around the campus:

• Temporary Entrance Relocation: Our current entrance off Browns Hill Road will temporarily move beside the AME Zion Church, allowing access directly into the lower parking lot.
• Main Entrance Transformation: During this transition, our existing main entrance will undergo a complete transformation. Thanks to our partnership with the Sam’s Car Wash development team, plans include a beautiful pond on the right side of the driveway, complete with a gazebo and a walking path.
• Site Infrastructure: You will also see our building pad take shape as essential utilities—including storm drainage, water, and electrical services—are installed throughout the site.

Even more exciting, the structural steel for the building has already been ordered! Once this foundational site work is complete, our next major milestones will include installing the underground utilities beneath the future slab, preparing the foundation, and pouring the concrete.
