In Genesis 12, God calls Abraham out of a world marked by rebellion and idolatry and sets in motion His plan to bring blessing to every nation. Abraham was not chosen because he was extraordinary, but because God’s grace is extraordinary. God blessed him so that, through him, others would be blessed.

In this message from our All Nations: The Gospel for Everyone series, we discover four responses from Abraham’s life that show us how God can use His people to be a blessing: believing the Word of God, obeying the direction of God, resting in the faithfulness of God, and returning to the ways of God when we wander.

Ultimately, God’s promise to Abraham finds its fulfillment in Jesus Christ, through whom forgiveness, grace, salvation, and the Holy Spirit are offered to people from every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. As followers of Christ, we have not simply been blessed to receive God’s grace—we have been blessed to share it with the world.
