The Waiting Is Not Wasted

Waiting is not wasted when it is centered on Christ. Like the shepherds and Simeon, we live between the promise and the fulfillment, looking back to Jesus’ first coming and forward to His return. In the waiting we have a Messiah to worship, a message to proclaim, a mandate to obey, and a moment to seize. God uses the seasons of waiting to deepen our peace, ignite our worship, and move us into urgent gospel obedience.
