Prepare The Way - Victory over control

We all have areas of our lives where we struggle to surrender control. Whether it's our relationships, finances, families, or future, we often find ourselves trying to take matters into our own hands rather than trusting God's plan.

In this Palm Sunday message from our Prepare the Way series, we explore Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem and discover how the desire for control can keep us from recognizing and following God's will. While the crowds celebrated Jesus as their coming King and the religious leaders fought to maintain their authority, both struggled to surrender their expectations to God's greater purpose.

Through Psalm 37, we discover five practical steps toward experiencing victory over control: trusting in the Lord, delighting in Him, committing our ways to Him, waiting patiently for His timing, and refraining from anger and worry.

Jesus came not only to give us victory over sin and death but also to free us from our constant need to be in control.

When we surrender control to Christ, we aren't losing, we're experiencing the victory that comes from trusting His perfect will!
