What is the goal?
We want to keep it simple. Homeschooling can be challenging, and if we’re not careful, it can sometimes feel isolating. Our desire is to build a community of homeschool families within our church where we can encourage one another, share resources, build meaningful relationships, and partner together for one common purpose: to glorify Jesus.
Will there be any field trip style events planned?
Yes, yes, and definitely YES! We’re excited to plan fun days at the zoo, Discovery Place, the aviation museum, and other local attractions. We’ll visit parks, plan cookouts, enjoy the waterways, and find lots of other fun ways to spend time together. Some activities will be planned during the week, while others may take place on weekends.
Can I invite a homeschool family that is not a part of the NewLife Church community?
Absolutely! We welcome them with open arms. All we ask is that they fill out the interest form so we can get their information and keep them updated about upcoming events.
What is the age group for kids?
Great question! Our focus isn’t on a specific age group, but on building community among homeschool families. Whether your child is in kindergarten or a senior in high school, we want your family to feel welcomed and included. While many of our events and activities may be geared more toward elementary and middle school-aged children, homeschool families with children of all ages are welcome to be part of the community.
