Leadership / Serving  (Interest Form)

Thank you for your interest in joining one of our volunteer or leadership teams at NewLife Church! We understand that this application is a bit detailed; however, we believe it is important to do our best to shepherd and protect the church body.
Our desire is for every leader to be equipped, healthy, and supported in their area of service. None of us are perfect, but we are committed to living faithful lives that are pleasing to the Lord as we serve Him and His people.

There are several opportunities to serve in a volunteer position here at NewLife. You will have a chance to select what are you are most interested in.  If you have any questions at all please feel free to reach out to our Discipleship Pastor Brandon Moose. He will be more than happy to help! bmoose@newlife247.com

Your willingness to step forward makes a lasting impact—helping others grow in their faith, build community, and live on mission. We’re excited to walk alongside you as you explore this next step in leadership and service.

Why this form matters?

Please read before proceeding
At NewLife Church, we believe that leadership and serving is not about position or title—it’s about servanthood, character, and spiritual health. As we continue growing, it’s vital that those who lead/serve others are first deeply rooted in their relationship with Christ and living out their faith authentically in every area of life. See...We didn't say perfectly!

This form is designed to help us walk alongside you in that process. The questions may seem detailed, but each one serves a purpose: to help you reflect on your own spiritual journey and to help us ensure that those stepping into leadership or service to the body are healthy, growing disciples who lead by example in four key areas:

-Personal Relationship with Christ – Loving Jesus deeply and pursuing Him daily in (Word, Personal Worship and Prayer)
-Home Life – Living out faith authentically with family and those closest to you. (Singleness, Marriage, Parenting and Finances)
-Church Life – Serving the Body of Christ with humility, unity, and joy. (Bride of Christ, Communion, Community, Serving, Giving, Corporate worship)
-Life in the World – Reflecting God’s love and making disciples wherever you go. (Making disciples, loving the lost, being the light, mission & outreach)

As Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:11–13, God calls leaders to “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, becoming mature in Christ.”

The main weight of this passage falls on the Pastors / Elders and current leadership of this Church. We want to "equip the saints".

Our goal is not perfection—it’s growth. We want to help you flourish in your walk with Jesus, in your leadership, and in your ability to help others do the same. Thank you for taking the time to thoughtfully complete this form and for your willingness to be part of what God is doing through NewLife Church.

Personal Information

Personal Evaluation

We know that NO ONE is perfect and we all have areas that we need to work on. So please be honest in your evaluation of yourself. Just because you struggle in an area doesn't mean you are automatically disqualified to become a leader/serve or facilitate a group. Your honest evaluation is the most important. We're not going to be "splitting hairs" so just select the best answer that represents you. At the end of the day, this is a great opportunity to self reflect and see areas of victory and maybe even some areas you may want to work on. Let's face it, we all have areas we need to work on!
